Where do we start?

We will meet you at your hotel because we only offer private tours because you are a star and you deserve start-quality treatment.

Important ; If your hotel or apartment is in a restricted traffic zone, we will arrange a convenient meeting point to start your wonderful tour with us.

Since we’re Romans, we will first stop for an unforgettable espresso—the real deal. Or, if you prefer, a good cappuccino.

If you’d rather start the experience without any stops, that’s perfectly fine—it’s entirely up to you!

What you will see on the Vespa Sidecar Tour

Duration: Approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes

You will visit:

Piazza Venezia and the monument dedicated to Vittorio Emanuele II.

The steps of the Capitoline Hill (Campidoglio in Italian), designed by Michelangelo.

The ancient Theater of Marcellus, built by Emperor Augustus.

Under the Roman sun and aboard our sidecars, you’ll enjoy a unique 360-degree view of the city. The wind in your face will make you happy, and our Vespas will make you feel special!

We will ride along the Tiber River, passing by the Jewish Ghetto, the Tiber Island with its Roman bridges, and a view of Castel Sant’Angelo, a fortress from the 1500s.

Well cross the Tiber River, skirting the Vatican walls, and make an unforgettable stop at the Janiculum Hill. The ascent will be fantastic, and youll relive the sweet Roman life. We’ll touch the Trastevere neighborhood briefly, and once we reach the Janiculum Hill square, we’ll stop to admire the breathtaking view of Romes historic center from the VespaSidecar

Gelato!

We avoid tourist traps, and for our gelato stop, we’ve chosen the gelateria where we Romans go. Located just behind Vatican City, you’ll taste real, organic Roman gelato, a treat that will make you feel like youre touching the sky.

From the Janiculum Hill, well descend to reach the Spanish Steps and climb the Quirinal Hill, passing by the Italian President’s Palace, also known as the Quirinal Palace.

Naturally, well stop at the Trevi Fountain as well to throw in a coin and enjoy the spectacle of the queen of Roman fountains.

During the tour, you will listen to our live commentary on the history of the buildings, fountains, and squares. We are full of little anecdotes and fun facts because we know how to tailor our tour to your needs. Children will love our tours, and we are sure they won’t want to get off the Vespa sidecars.

Final stop: the Colosseum and Circus Maximus

We arrive at the Colosseum via the small streets from the 1600s in a Vespa sidecar. The Colosseum stop we’ve chosen will leave a lasting impression on you. The square overlooks the Colosseum from above in all its splendor.

During the stop, you can take photos and videos or simply enjoy the view from our sidecars. Throughout this stop and the entire tour, we will provide historical and cultural insights about everything we visit.

We will be lighthearted and fun, as each client is unique to us, just like our tours.

Once back on the Vespa, we will ride along the entire Colosseum— which is fantastic on a Vespa! On the way back to your hotel, we will pass by the Circus Maximus with a view of the ruins of the Emperor’s Palace.

All our sidecars and Vespas are new and very comfortable. They are equipped with seatbelts, and the helmets are certified by the Italian government, ensuring they are very safe and comfortable.

What if it rains?

N 1 In case of adverse weather conditions, we ask our guests to confirm their attendance one day prior to the event. As an exceptional courtesy, we offer free cancellation without any penalties if notified at least 24 hours in advance. For light rain, the tour will proceed as planned; we are equipped with rainproof materials and prioritize your safety. In case of heavy rain, we will do our best to reschedule the tour.

N2 Weather Policy – Sidecar Tours
In case of rain or adverse weather conditions, the decision to operate or cancel a sidecar tour is solely at our discretion. This decision may be made up to one hour before the scheduled departure time. The safety of our drivers and, above all, of our guests is our highest priority, and for this reason our decision is final and non-negotiable. If rescheduling is not possible, we will issue a full refund.

How many people can participate in our tours?

Each vehicle is for two people only: one passenger behind the driver and the other passenger inside the sidecar, for a total of 2 people. Obviously, during our tour, you can switch seats whenever you want.

Is it safe?

Of course! Each vehicle is strictly controlled by the Italian Department of Transportation and is subject to annual inspections to approve the license for transporting people. Our style is very moderate and never fast, so you can fully enjoy our tour. Our drivers have years of specialization and are carefully selected.

Are your vehicles insured?

Clearly, yes. Every year the Department of Transportation requires mandatory insurance, and without it, our license is not renewed.

Is your tour group or private?

We only do private tours. We will pick you up in front of your hotel and bring you back to the hotel or wherever you want in the center of Rome.

How many people can join your tours?

At the moment, we can accommodate up to a maximum of 8 people, divided among 4 sidecars. Each vehicle can carry only two people, so if you are eight, we will move with 4 Vespa sidecars. And we will have a lot of fun!

How should I dress?

Can I bring my dog with me?

Of course, yes! If you look at our logo, you will find our dog Ettore! If your dog is small, it can ride with you inside the sidecar. If it is large and you think it will not have problems inside the sidecar, then it can be part of our tour. Important: the large dog will be counted as a participant in the tour.

Can I drive your Vespa sidecars?

I'm sorry, but we cannot let you drive our vehicles for safety reasons.

From what age can children participate?

Children from 5 years old and up can be part of our tour. Children must always be accompanied by an adult throughout the duration of the tour. Children can sit behind the driver only if they are over 150 cm tall, otherwise, they must sit inside the sidecar.

Are there any height and weight limits?

Yes! Our sidecars can support up to 110 kg/242 lbs and the maximum height is 1.90 m. The maximum weight for sitting behind the driver is 118 kg/260 lbs. Children must always be accompanied by an adult throughout the duration of the tour. Children can sit behind the driver only if they are over 150 cm tall, otherwise, they must sit inside the sidecar.

Can I bring something to eat and drink during the tour?

Of course, you can!

Can we hear the driver speaking during the tour?

You will have your own comfortable radio guide to listen to the live commentary from our driver guide! If you want, you can simply relax and enjoy the 360-degree view of the city without commentary! It's up to you.
